After reading a post by a very intelligent user I had a revelation about the emotion of sadness.

It happens to everyone so just get on with it.

Few were mopier and complained more about depression than I did. What was I thinking? I'm not oppressed in any way shape or form so I have no reason to feel this way. Sure I may have hit a few more road bumps than most people have but my tires ain't flat and my engine can still run.

I'm still young I've only been 20 for two weeks. I kept thinking I was gonna be alone the rest of my life but f**k that no one is truly alone unless they have no friends or family and I have both. And maybe the right girl hasn't come into my life yet but she will I know she will. Because I have faith not supernatural faith but faith of the heart and mind (and faith in the great serpent in the sky).

It's gonna be a great weekend I'll hopefully get to see my friends maybe get stoned because I've been dry for nearly a month and it suuuuuuuuucks. But it's gonna be good from here on out I know it will be I just gotta make it happen.

That sounds fantastic. I had many of the same feelings of loneliness. I held off on marriage waiting for the exact right woman. By age 33, I gave-up.

I met my wife at age 34. She was the one I had waited for. We've been happily married (I'm happy at least, I suspect she's being driven mad!) for 11.5 years now. I'm glad I took my time. It was well worth the wait.

I'm glad you found some peace of mind there. If you don't mind, maybe link the post(s) that turned it around for you? They might help "my friend."

Here's the link, but keep in mind this did not cause my revelation, but more simply put it in motion. What caused my revelation was just walking up one morning.
