Well,I've made some new friends. Rememeber how I said that I had a friend with AS who lived not too far away? We hang out alot now. And I have made two new friends at my church, and I have started talking to a few people that I know fairly well and we're becoming fast friends.

Oh,and my old best friend? He called about a week ago, saying that he was sorry and that he wanted to be friends again. I'm giving him another chance, and we're taking things slow.

And I even have a Valentine this year! She's coming to see me on the 15th this month.

AND, my mom has sort of gotten off my back about my orientation and my religion.

Want to hear something hilarious? I figured out recently that some girls from my old school who REALLY gets on my nerves are totallt creeped out of me. I can use that top my advantage as in I can tell them to move and they'll do it or I can chanllenge them to a fight, and they won't even hit back! HILARIOUS!

Things are going good and getting better.

Sounds like good news all around, and though I likely won't be the first (or last) to say it, just be careful with the one friend that apologized.

Typically, people from my high school who were once bullies are stuck in McDonald's.

Consider yourself lucky. The same types from mine are quite possibly inheriting positions in multi-million dollar corporations. Karma doesn't apply when the a**holes are obscenely wealthy by way of their parents' efforts (or grandparents, or even further back.)

Same here, comrade! I went to one of these top-notch expensive "public" schools (UK) for two years, and was bullied like s**t. The snobs liked to make fun of the fact I came from a poorer background (I was only middle-class and many of them were of the landowning and CEO class). They would often walk around the school and order other kids around as if they owned the place! I got into that school on my own merit and my own hard work, whereas they got in because Daddy was rich. Its not a nice thought knowing that these same people are probably directors of companies and stuff now and no doubt exploiting the masses and the 3rd world like no tomorrow. One good thing came out of it though - it has made me a more determined socialist and instilled in me an inherent hatred of the unfairness of the capitalist system. The bastards will pay one day - hopefully in a bloody revolution.

Sorry, I didn't mean to derail your thread, SpaceCase - I said my bit, and I'll be quiet now!

Good luck with the new friends. You deserve them - you went out and joined things to meet new people.

I dunno about the creeps thing.. but i'm glad you're seeing the humour in it. :)
