...it makes you hate it? This is how I feel right now... as if I'm holding onto an interest I really should put aside. Not ditch entirely, just leave in the background for a while. But it's so hard when your life's revolved around the one thing for seven years and no matter how hard you try to avoid and replace it it's still a big part of your life due to the long history you have with it.
This time next year I'll be picking my university degree and while I know it's up to me, I dread being pushed into continuing with this annoying interest. I want to continue liking it, it just gets a bit too much and I often have "off" days when I'd rather have nothing to do with it and focus on my other interests instead.
