Went to bed at 5am on xmas morning after rewatching the first 7 episodes of Game of Thrones.

Up at 2pm and stared at puter installing and testing apps to make ebay as clean as possible.

No presents to open; no contact with family

Out on motor bike at 8.15pm to do 3 hour shift on emotional help line. 36 mile round trip in the dark on scary roads. Scary cos all roads are scary on a bike in winter on wet roads.

Back at 1.30am boxing day. Meant to watch another 3 episodes of GoT but...

It's now 4am on boxing day and i've had a gin or 3. Another shift at 7pm.

I'm glad xmas day is over - I dread it from november and feel such pressure (usually imaginary) to be festive. Me rubbish at "festive".

Wow. I've been tryng to keep up with the amount of posts that lament Christmas Day. Seems like a lot this year. I don't know. It's too bad "Joy To The World" doesn't resonate everywhere. I have an eye infection for Christmas. My eyes itches and waters constantly. It should be gone by tomorrow. I hope everyone feels better after Christmas Day. It's been tough for all.

Sketchy roads and fast vehicles rule my life. I live in Colorado and keep a turbo Saab on ice tires. I'm spending my Xmas in Wyoming as usual this year, there's really something empowering about knowing for certain how to traverse insane conditions safely, I think that got me into mountain bikes. I hope you have a good cycle!
