Are they one and the same? I am constantly being diagnosed as depressed, but I don't feel depressed. I don't necessarily feel happy, but I don't feel any different on antidepressants either. I can recognize feeling overwhelmed. Sometimes I feel emotionally distant from the world, like viewing the scurry inside an ant farm. I prefer feeling this way to riding emotional roller coasters, which happens sometimes too.
Opinions? Can't make heads or tails of it. :?

Antidepressants are only really good for can't get out of bed style getting you out of a massive rut depression. In milder cases they haven't proven that effective. If you're tired all the time it could be a different medical problem. That or you're somewhere else on the mental illness spectrum.

What other medications have you tried? Mood stabilizers, atypical antipsychotics, maybe a blunt stimulant can help coping with the world, it's really hard to tell what is appropriate though.

There's just been a bad combination for me lately. I've been a little under the weather, which compounds a lot of other things that aren't usually as problematic. Thanks, though. :)
