There seems to be a bump in people saying they are leaving, and I wonder if it is just random or if it is in some cases related to spring or the change of seasons. Some instinctive trigger that says 'time to change the scenery' ?
I know some are dead set on going and have their reasons, and I wish them well. But I hope most are just experiencing a temporary need to get away from it and will feel comfortable returning.
No one should feel foolish about returning after saying 'goodbye', even if emphatically. If we all had felt unable to return because we said goodbye, maybe something like one third to one half of us wouldn't be here right now.
