I had the FBI pick me up at my job to question me about a joke I made on 4chan, my mom said they also searched all my computers

Good grief! Yeah, you have to watch watch you say in this day and age -- Big Brother is watching you. Sorry you had to go through that.

What exactly was the joke about if you don't mind me asking?

Does not sound like a good idea to make a comment which makes people think that god has told you to shoot up a school.

a few days ago i clicked on a link there, the OP said "the FBI has been collecting info from /b/", or something like that. it was bait, and i bit it.

i clicked, and it redirected me to an FBI search on how to kill the prez.

the thread was full of comments like "F*** you OP", "nice going" and "well it's been nice knowing you fa***ts", so naturally i was very worried. i even cleared my search history, cache, cookies everything, not like that would have mattered anyway.

but no, nobody came knocking on my door.

what do you think? was i being too paranoid??

Good grief indeed. What an extremely paranoid and immature country the US is. Grow up, the lot of you, 4channers and the FBI alike.

Crazy, it's like living in East Germany now. I'm sure they have a file on me as well, sounds paranoid but am I wrong to think that post-NSA revelations?

I think they were trying to get me committed too with the questions after thinking them over all night they kept trying to get me to say im danger to others

well yesterday my cousin who works at the same job site said guys I work with were asking him what happened and the rumor mill is going full force I dont even want to go back I skipped today

Don't shy away from it, there are people out there that will sympathize with you. The fact that the government is watching EVERYONE is insane, what happened to you could just as easily to happen to them.
