Did you put some suntan lotion on?

I would put on some aloe cream, and take a cool shower.

It might hurt a little for a few days. It might peel in a few days.

At least you were in the water, so the sunburn might not be as bad as it would have been had you been sunning on the beach for 4 hours.

That could be bad if you are light skinned. You may hurt. If you are used to the sun and already tanned or have dark skin that is better. But Florida sun over water is very strong. I hope you are ok!

Take an oatmeal bath, cool water.Put the oatmeal in a sock or small bag or it's a real mess.If you can get hold of some aloe vera use that, like an above poster mentioned, you can get the bottled juice at the store, fresh is best, but bottled will do.Aspirin if you can take it for the pain.

Vitamin e helps, too -- maybe not for the pain like aloe, but it helps your skin heal. They make vitamin e creams but if you have vitamin e capsules you can just cut a bit of the end off with scissors or poke a hole in the capsule and then squeeze out the vitamin e.
