It just collapsed in on itself under the weight of misdirected anger, fear, financial stress, isolation and just a general lack of sharing anything good or enjoyable together. Having to tag-team parent has killed it.

I do not think that I will try this again. I will not inflict myself on anybody anymore.

You know I'm here for you. Call me if you just want somebody to listen, or come over or whatever you feel like ok? I mean it!

Relationships take 2 people and some don't work even when both people work hard at it. Don't let whatever awful experience you are having right now make you start thinking the only affect you could have on people is a bad one.

I don't know the details, but I can just about promise that it's not just you.

Feel the same way, though. Can't leave my house today (the neighbors were staring at me while I mowed the law yesterday, like they saw something disgusting), can't talk to ANYONE about it. Nobody gets it, and I don't want to trouble them with my "whining self-pity."

Buyer Beware: What's going on? Why can't you go out of the house?

Think of it as a new beginning, you were not happy in that relationship.Give yourself time to heal and you maybe find that life is better without him.My divorce was one of the best things I ever did, should have done it sooner that subject the kids to years of fighting.
