Hi All,

This is gonna be a long post but I need to give you the background.

So, here go is that My Aunt, on my Mum's side, has got vascular dementia and Parkinson's. Anyway, today (25 September) the phone rang, at about 5:30pm, and my mum answer it and the careline service wanted my mum to go check on my Aunt, as we live about 10 mins drive away.

So, we get to my Aunt;s flat and I can hear her calling out for help. Entering the flat, I see my Aunt was on the floor and crying out in pain and just seeing that I just emotionally shut down and did what my mum told me to do and then I waited outside for the ambulance, as I just didn't want to be in the flat.

Once the ambulance arrived and they decided to take her to hospital and while that was going on so I stayed outside because I didn't want to get in the way and I didn't know how to cope with what was happening.

So, now I am back at home and just bag of mixed up emotions right now and not really sure what I should be feeling or be doing, if anything.

Regards

Your aunt would probably appreciate a phone call to know you are thinking about her and hoping she gets well soon.

Hi All,

Just update to say that My Aunt is fine and she's only dislocated her shoulder so once that is fixed then she'll be discharged either today or sometime tomorrow. Also, I have now got myself back under control so everything is fine.

Regards
