Hi, I am new

I married at the age of 27 (10 years ago). Lost my virginity to my wife before we got married.
She was diagnosed 8 years ago as bi polar after our firstborn son.
She is 40 now, thinks that I am ASD, and became a nymphomaniac.. wanting to move on.
Our kids are 8 and 6 and our lastborn severely disabled boy passed away 22 months ago.

I'm sorry she wants to "move on." It certainly won't be good for the kids.

I agree. Divorce is never good for the kids. She ought to grin and bear it if you ask me.

Ouch!!

I have no clue of how to help you (and tend to agree that marriage should not be casually thrown away once kids are involved).

Whatever happens, at least as long as you are a good and involved parent, don't let yourself get walked all over in that department. Provided they are decent parents, kids need their parents regardless of what diagnoses can be applied. And it seems like so many people these days think nothing of screwing the kids over in a split-up.

i think kids being around parents who are constantly miserable and fighting is much worse. it will be hard for everyone involved but it's better than OPs wife pretending to be happy for the sake of her kids, which would probably just lead to more bitterness and a toxic home life for the children. my parents tried to stay together for the 'sake of the kids' when all they were doing was stalling the inevitable and making our home life miserable.

sorry this is happening to you OP. maybe counseling for married people? wish you the best
