Extended family members refusing to respect me as a person
I have extended family members who are continuing disrespect me to me as a person. They have also appeared to dis me as family member due to my autism and the ridiculous stigmas that go along with it. Why things were so bad So I got shut out by them in 2002. During that time I lived 3 miles away things were so bad that I was treated like a complete and total stranger whenever they saw me and nor did they ever call to see how I was going. Finally I had gotten them presents that year where they refused to acknowledge the gifts or say thank you to me.
Flashing forward both sides have been trying to make it work but there are a few things that I have seen which have bothered me. I have had a habit of calling them out. I was removed on facebook and blocked.
Now:
I recently created some holiday cards with Dr. Temple Grandin and I together since I am visual thinker and even gave some information about who she is. I also wrote my newsletter in addition to a small note of reconciliation that it was not okay to do what they did. Then I said that I am willing to move on if they were while leaving them my phone number.
I did not get a phone call in regards to the letter that the second letter but I got a regular card with a newsletter. In the letter was a link about my cousin doing a blog on cooking which I was interested. I subscribed to her page and followed her on twitter. I also decided to follow her on instagram since have some things in common. Yet she has not had the courtesy to notice that I am following her or taking an interest in what she is doing. Instead she has been ignoring me.
If there is anything that I should say what is it?
