Hi. I have been putting problems into myself, because I was trying to figure out what is wrong with me. I suspected that I have PMS (due to having periods), going dyslexic (due to not reading more) and I was insecure about my voice, which sounded like a child or boy or something (my singing voice stinks on a recorder). I also unknowingly used my studies to gain unwanted attention from my parents, mostly when they're all here at home. I lack integrity, I'm insecure, and lack effort. What should I do?

I think I understand what you mean, at least with some of these points.

I'm not a woman so I can't relate about PMS, but my sister's all about the hot water bottles and chocolate :) Also, I've been told that Evening Primrose Oil caps/tablets can help make it less severe.

Read more! Books are a dying artform, help to keep them alive! Read about the things that you love. I currently have one on Aspergers', one on the mental health industry, one on spirituality and 3 on mathematics/fractals on the go :)

As far as your singing voice goes, all you can do is keep practicing. I thought I had a good voice until I recorded it 8O but I love singing so I have to keep practicing.

I'm not sure what you can do about the study/parents thing.

Overall I'm really negative towards myself, so unfortunately I can't help much with the integrity, inscurity etc. I spent most of the day on the couch because it's my day off and I spent a lot of yesterday being social etc.
At least I brought my washing in!

Maybe you can start to see smaller achievements as meaning something? I've started to scale my expectations back and find it's more agreeable to be proud of doing my washing or a little bit of artwork rather than doing nothing and hating myself completely because I can't live up to the expectations I place on myself.

Thank you.
