So I'm starting a vocational training program tomorrow. It's four months long, which I find to be a long time. Maybe it's four weeks and I got it wrong. Either way I feel like a child about to start kindergarten. I have been off work for a year and living on my own for 5 months now. I am losing it. It's possible I have already lost it and am too far gone realize it. And after they cancelled last minute last time, it may not even happen at all.
So I am unsure what to expect which is causing me less anxiety than I expected. I had a major two part meltdown last week and still feel a bit numb from it. Both mentally and physically.
So I am preparing for two possibilities- it may not happen at all, or, it is going to happen and will probably be overwhelming. I hate it when the possibilities are so opposite.

I hope they don't cancel on you tomorrow.

I wish you, as Astro puts it, "rots of ruck."

If they cancel it will be yet another disappointment. But it would be #3, which is in keeping with the rule of threes.

 :D

Well, it was okay. There are six people in the group. And the group leader is young, but she's smart and I think she knows what she's doing. It was a positive experience. It was also nice to be around other people who have had similar issues to me. For once I felt that I was in the right place.
The program is just under two months and then we have two practical job experiences. Which hopefully will turn into a job.

I'm afraid have thoroughly burned my bridges at all the libraries in this city. Lol
No, it will be something different.

What about a medical library at a university hospital?

I used to work for one when I was 18 (though it was a for a city, rather than a university, hospital).

It was part of a program somewhat similar to yours--called the CETA program. It wasn't specifically for people with disorders--but many people with disorders were a part of it.

I understand your mindset.
