Well, our car slung a rod a month or two ago and DH has been having to get a ride to work from our oldest daughter. Luckily for a long time he was working at this job in town but he's done as much as can be done there till the sheetrockers get finished so he's on another job now, out of town. He's having to stay at his mothers with his brother and his slacker ass nephew and take my MIL's car to work. I miss him. He's coming home this weekend for the first time in a couple weeks.

I didn't think I'd miss him, but I do. Really bad. I told him too. I'm also wide awake tonight and bored as s**t. There isn't anybody to talk to or anything. Damn.

That's tough. Your post reminded me of the phrase "absence makes the heart grow fonder" Is he coming home to visit or is he done with the out-of-town job? Have the both of you made plans for this weekend? Going anywhere exciting?

Do you like watching movies/tv? Maybe you can pop in a DVD or watch something on Hulu/Netflix to pass the time.

It's just for the weekend. We aren't doing anything, he's just gonna get some rest.
