I wonder how bad my performance at work is going to be tomorrow. I was hitting the quota and doing really good last week, but now that I know it was just because of mania I guess I'm going to start sucking at my job again, or doing even worse if I become depressed after it like usual. My coworkers will be so pissed at me.

I also thought it was weird that I was so motivated and trying to plan stuff like going to college, I usually don't think I can do stuff like that and don't even attempt to. I want to repeatedly ram my head against a brick wall and just f*****g kill myself. I can't do anything right or worthwhile unless I'm artificially "happy" and productive.

Do you have anything to look forward to in life? Anything, however tiny e.g. watching a film. I find that is the best way to stop myself killing myself

This isn't a heartfelt rant, it made me laugh, but honestly, some people!

A friend I've had for 2 years posted a silly meme on Twitter, it wasn't a deep, meaningful one.

I replied, doesn't that model look like a very young Boris Johnson?

She replied, don't ever mention him, he's not a nice person.

Then unfollowed me!

What? Saying some model looks like Boris Johnson is offensive? I didn't think that was grounds for unfollowing  People get offended at anything these days!

Some people are just going nutso these days…..

Some people seem to be looking for something to be offended by.

Why can’t people just agree to disagree sometimes, and move on?

She probably voted for him in the last election and now feels f****d over.

Yes I thought she'd reply, 'haha, yes he does!' and laugh :?

I don't think she did though, as far as I know she's a socialist. So WTF. I don't get it.

Maybe she's the model's mother? And she didn't tell me that

I feel like most of the “offended” spend too much time on the Internet.

I agree but I do know a lot of offended people in real life too

e.g. I went to a crafting group and asked a woman to pass me the scissors. She went 'Oh!' and reacted as if I'd sworn at her.

I just ignored her and borrowed someone else's scissors

I often wonder if I've got Tourettes and don't know it!

That's the best attitude:

Ignore people who are unreasonably offended....

If somebody asks you to borrow the scissors, just say "No Soap Radio"

(sometimes, we just need a little levity in our lives :P )

Aside from the car accident that happened, I already felt like s**t today. I just want to sleep for a week and not deal with anything. I can't find anything that I enjoy doing, so I've just been laying down and trying to sleep, which I can't do even after taking muscle relaxers.

I’m sorry for earlier today.

I hope you sleep well.

I'd rather take impulsive stimming and overboard over obsessions than disruptive loud sneezing. :x

Toddlers, ugh!
They're sweet when they're your own but when you've got to hear them screaming in the supermarket or on public transport, not so much. They're just one step above vicious, untamed animals.

So today my boyfriend - an NT who does not have sound sensitivity and has had kids of his own before - was on a train and came home exhausted. When I asked what was wrong he said there was a 2-year-old having the biggest tantrum ever on the train, laying on the floor kicking and screaming louder than its lungs could bear - all because it didn't know August had a 31st day and it wanted it to be September today. The mother said she couldn't change that, which fueled the tantrum even more. The toddler felt powerless, it had it in its head that it was September today and the mother, not knowing how much it bothered this baby, must have said that it's still August or something and it sent the kid hysterical. It was even screaming "I want September! I want September!!" The only way to get this thing to stop screaming was to give it what it wanted - which was to make it be September. The mother probably thought of moving the sun a few inches along to make it be September a day early or something.

And then some people wonder why parents lie to their children. If I was that parent I would have just said "oh, my mistake, it is September today." A harmless white lie is better than having a busted eardrum.

I sense that this kid is Aspergian in some way.

I don't know of many two-year-olds who would even know that there are either 30 or 31 days in August----nor even that there is an "August."

I didn't know about "August" until I was about five years old.

Why do people always act weird around me or look at me like they f*****g hate me. I literally just exist and people instantly act like they don't like me. I'm obviously doing something wrong body language or tone wise, but I have no idea what it is. It makes me so mad because I can tell I'm doing something wrong, but my dumbass self cannot figure out what it is. FML
