I'm sorry :( I can relate. It can be hard, especially if you don't have any autistic friends. I know what that's like. Just remember, there are people like you. Luckily many of them are here!

I can relate; same here.

There's a couple of people in my life at the moment to whom I can't even begin to explain certain ways that I'm unable to tolerate things they tolerate. It's like a great big barrier between myself and them.

That dosn't mean that just because someone is 'autistic' they will automatically be 'like you'. I've come across fair few people on here I have less in common with than some NTs.

Yeah...I know what you mean.

Then...there are times when I get tired of dealing with intellectually-snobby Aspies, too. They get on my last nerve--especially when they are decrying the Hierarchy, while acting "hierarchal" themselves.

I guess the point is: Sometimes, I get tired with dealing with PEOPLE in general.

But I think people are okay, most of the time.

OH yes, I can relate! That neurotypical being my brother, and the reason is disrespect/verbal abuse. Not to mention that he very recently got off drugs.

It's difficult when everyone that you meet seems to have a mind and a personality that is completely different from yours.

The mental gap is ages apart, it cannot be bridged.

Difficulties....
