I must leave home fast

I must leave soon although I don't have too much money. I suppose I will live in a shared house. I've done that before and was okay.

People are talking about me and I asked them to stop but they said if you don't like it then leave. I don't like being given spoken about when I'm not around.

Who do you live with currently?

Yeah...if you have the funds, you should go off on your own.

What are they saying about you?

I live with some family members but that's a problem now. I did live by myself for 2 years but moved back in with family because I was poor. It's no good now though.

I have enough for a few weeks and I will try get more work. It will be difficult to move all my important stuff though and I don't want to tell anyone I'm leaving until I have already got a new place set up.

I shared some personal things with one person and they shared It with another. Also they made it sound like a bigger problem than it is. I hate to say if there is a problem. I hate for people to think I'm weak. I don't ask for help so it's so bad for information I told to be shared without my permission. It's rude to talk about ppl when they aren't around

I agree that it is rude.

I think you have a good head on your shoulders. I hope you don't make a hasty decision. Think things through before you move out, though it's understandable that you want to move out.

Wow, soon after you posted your dilemma, I was trying to think what to reply to you and within a few minutes several others stepped up to support you.

(Then I lost connection, and my internet providers said that the wrongplanet site was down, who knows).

Starfox, I do not think you are weak. You realized that the family stuff was overwhelming you and you came here, a safe place where people understand you. We all struggle with stuff in life, but being able to connect with even just a few people means so much.

Don't rush it, but start looking for another place.

Unless you left something out, I hate to be the bringer of bad news but no matter where you go, who you know or how much you trust them, *everyone* does this. You will never cross a soul who does not have something to say about you when you are not around.

This isn't entirely true. While 'other people' is a common topic, there are other topics that some people chose to focus on. Although, I did have a buddy who's favorite phrase was 'wherever you go, the a**holes got their first.' I've found this to be generally true, so when looking for a place, try to find one with a holes you can live with, at least for a while.
