Hey,I failed the road test for my licence.it just feels like no matter how hard i try i can't get any better. Why do I work my but off, just to fall flat on my face again? When my freind doesn't even practice and he get it his first time.

It's the same with everything, here I am to busy thinking about social cues so I don't look like an idiot and I miss half the conversation hence looking like a fricking moron.

Sometimes i just get so sick of it! I'm a 20 year old virgin with no licence,a peace of sh*t job, living in my parents basment  but i could tell you anything you want to now about Dr phil, startrek,or america history.

anyway I'll stop with the rant. How do guys get motavation to get up and try again because right know it just feels so pointless. :(

I don't know how I get the motivation. I figure I either get to it, or die, and I'm way too young for the latter.

Yeah. Life hands you a bowl of lemons, make lemonade, but what do you do with a bowl of feces?

Eventually, it starts to stink so bad, you've got to pitch it and wash the bowl. Try to start back upward.

Use the feces as manure, and grow a rose!

just how long were you sitting on that bowl before producing this pearl of wisdom? ^_^

imo... learning to drive is much easier than laerning to be even somewhat knowledgable on any topic.

so that's a good thing :)

I'm a 20 year old virgin too, and I'm not angry about this.

I continue living with my parents and they overprotect me sometimes. I don't have a licence because I'm not allowed, and my mom doesn't teach me driving because she thinks I'm immature.

When I get pissed off because I don't know how to drive, I try to think it's better, because I enjoy watching things when I walk instead of using a car, I do exercise, and my endurance have increased a lot, also a car is a big responsability.

You should look the positive side.

What did you get wrong on the driving test?

I found it liberating to learn to drive (at age 34) but at the same time no
real place to go. I do not have a car now at age 37.

Sounds like me (except for the liberating). Honestly, I think the only
reason that I passed was that they felt sorry for me. Plus, in NJ, you don't
have a REAL road test - it's on a mock up course.

I am scared of driving...you're better off than I am...at least you showed up for the test...
Life is overwhelming...but I'm sure you will do great...although you may not see that now, slowly but surely things will change for the better....I wish the best for you...:)

Nothing wrong with venting! I failed my driving test twice and then passed it, and now I don't drive because I live in a great city with buses and trains and lots of stuff in walking distance. And I was a virgin at 20 and it DID bother me. But now I can't imagine why. I remember my buddy congratulating me the day after I finally lost it and I was like, "uh. yeah." =P
