This is one of the problems of being over 50. When you have insomnia, all your friends are sound asleep and there is nobody to hang out with. I wish somebody would work evening shift and then I could invite them to stop by on the way home. Grrrrrr.

LOL! My youngest daughter is a vampire, I mean night person too but she's not here tonight. She's gone to spend the night with friends. Usually I could talk to her.

I guess I could play with my makeup and hair and see what I can do with that. I just wish I had somebody awake to come hang out.

I wish I had a video camera or skype or something on this desktop cause then I could do a "lets compare accents" thread.

Online forums are a good place for insomniacs. One of my tablets stops me from sleeping. I spend many hours listening to music with headphones.

I've been staying up late too then getting very little sleep. the sun comes up and i can't stand that. plus I tend to think a lot which makes it hard to sleep.

no one can quite figure out my accent. because its an speech impediment. some think I'm British. the ex mean friend said she found hot.

Insomnia is the term for not being able to sleep.

If it's light in your room that causes you to wake up with the sun then put aluminum foil over the inside of your windows.

My accent is Southern and very, very thick. I try to lose it as much as possible when talking to anybody who isn't from here, but it's real thick. The people not from here I've talked to on the phone haven't heard the "home" accent from me, I classed it up a little bit, but Mindsigh has heard it. Mindsigh lives about an hour from me. We know some of the same people. Might have met each other in the past too actually. She hardly has one at all! I once asked a girl if she had a Brooklyn accent and she said no it was a speech impediment and I felt horrible about that. It didn't seem to bother her though, so that's good.
