It's a long story. I will try to keep it simple.

I was dating a girl for a little more than a year. She was a really great girl and everything was going alright ... then my mom found out she was a Satanist. I broke up with her because I was afraid of what my family would say. I was hoping I could still be friends with my ex-gf but she blocked me.

Now my best friend doesn't want to hang around with me because I am being "too negative". Life sucks.

I understand that it hurts on your end, but take into consideration that she is also hurting as well. I once completely severed ties with a previous lover because I flew across the country to spend time with him, only to be placed into a hotel room when his sister decided to visit unexpectedly.

This whole situation sounds unfortunate.

I'm sorry to hear that, Darth. I can be difficult when you have pressures from family which conflict with your relationships. I also recently split with my partner, after 6.5 years, so I know how hard it can be. I hope you're doing as well as can be expected.

I'm sorry that happened to you. I been through a nasty breakup too & been pretty hurt after the other one too. people also accused me of being too negative cuz I fell into a bad depression after the 1st breakup. Things eventually got better thou & I don't think about that stuff much anymore now that I have a great girlfriend.
