Panic attacks over the following things:
1) I had to turn in a Social Security Disability Update Report - How long do I have to wait before they send me a letter that lets me know I'm all clear? My fear is that they might want me to to get a full medical review - how often does that happen, if ever?

2) I saw a Social Security article on Yahoo about the idea that benefits will be reduced - the article is on Forbes!

3) I saw on Yahoo news that Windows 10 is going to be more aggressively pushed, making it so that users will forcibly have it uploaded to Windows 7 and that I will have to actively prevent it! Is this just another ploy?

4) I went to the Doctor last Thursday - and Friday mornin g he called me and told me my red cells are way too high and that I have to see a hematologist! He called the condition "Polycythemia" and that it's serious! I'm TERRIFIED!

All of these things going on at once! OMG! Please be my friends and tell me how to handle all of this fear...be re-assuring if possible...my head is above the clouds...I"M TERRIFIED!

I wish I had something helpful to say, but I get anxious about that sort of thing too!

One thing that has helped me is to make a list of things that worry me, divided into "Current Issues", "Upcoming Issues", and "Potential Future Issues". It helps me to see what I need to be dealing with now, vs. what I can put off for a while!

Take care of yourself, especially with health concerns... If you can take 5 minutes now and then just to try to relax, and breathe, and stretch a bit, that helps with the anxiety!

Totally feel ya on the Win 10 B.S. It keeps popping up here on my Win 8. "It's free to uprade! You've got nothing to lose(except your personal data which we will harvest)".

I'm a bit anxious about it too yes, not just for my laptop, but I plan on purchasing a desktop PC soon to be able to run the VR stuf that comes out in early 2016. Looks like Linux gets a big f**k you from all of them, so you'd have to bit the pillow and have Win 10 as your OS if you want to run it. Shame.

As for Social Security, I also have anxiety about that. We have a flexible welfare solution here, and I'm looking for work because what I get is not enough to live comfortably. If I get a job, welfare payments are adjusted accordingly. It's a great system that motivates people on social security, disability, welfare etc to work within their capacity.

It's a lot of paperwork going through papermills though. Bureaucracies tossing things back and forth and you have to phone a whole bunch of people and the worst thing I know is talking on the phone, especially formally with people I don't know, or barely know.
