It just threw me off track.

Greetings,

I was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome back in 2006 at the age of 26. Ever since that time I have worked hard to rehabilitate myself in order to become the best individual that I can be.....Now I have made much progress in my efforts at rehabilitation. I managed to hold down employment that I could function will in since July of 2007. I graduated college with a higher GPA than what I had in high school. Now I have come upon a new phase in my rehabilitation process: learning all about how my disability affects me......It hit me that this disability is much more complicated than what I had thought.

I am learning how it affects through a book I bought called The Asperger Syndrome Workplace Survival Guide by Barbara Bissonnette. I purchased the book out of the Jessica Kingsley Publishers Catalogue. Right now I feel like a planet that is spinning out of orbit. This was something that I should have dealt with YEARS AGO!! !! However the book didn't get published until 2013 which was the year I graduated college. Sooooooooo....meh what could I do you know!?

It just.......it's like.......I don't know what it's like to find out you have a long lost sibling, but I guess that is what you could compare it to.
