We millennials are useless. We are a bunch of lazy self-entitled brats who take selfies all day.
Can we do anything with our lives?

Cockroach, today your posts suggest that in your current state of mind you hate everything, especially yourself. Displacing the painful negativity onto others in a wildly generalised way, seeking confirmation from others for complete negativity is a potential risk for both yourself and them, IMO... I hope you find some Chinese of light and soon, though to find you must first seek....

If you want to continue posting "total negativity venting" there is a sticky at the top of the Haven forum for posting rants which don't have to be logical or rational, or you could perhaps open a thread there as you seem to be in an extremely dark place right now. I hope you do find that Chinese of light.

People think every younger generation is going to the hounds. If even a little of what they said was true (including me), then we'd all be deader than a dinosaur by now.

I thought you meant the song "My Generation".

^I could understand someone hating that.

Also I could understand someone of Cockroaches generation hating my generation and "My Generation".

I hate cockroaches and their generation.
But I like Cockroach96.

Not all of us are useless. While I must agree that seems to be the majority, there are some of us who actually bother to educate ourselves and do not act in the way you described. If you can not stand those types of people then avoid them. I believe you are very negative and you need to begin seeing the positive aspects of the situation. Think about the good things that this generation does bring.

I myself don't bother with this whole selfies obsession and social media therefore I avoid it and focus on myself.

What do you mean "those posts didn't sound like me"? Since when do I have a certain "sound"?
The problem with my generation is that we'll never get jobs, because the job market is impossible and we think that the world owes us a living.

I'm a Gen Y-er and recently interviewed summer students for next summer - they're dazzling for 20 yos. I'm grateful I don't have to compete against them for jobs! Sure, there are some awful millennial slackers - just like every single other generation in history, including mine! - but mostly they're good and hardworking!

Cockroach - you're having a bad day/week and your thinking is seriously off. PLEASE consider seeking mental health treatment. You're a good guy deep down, need and deserve help and not to be miserable!
