Hi,

I want to get over someone.

And for that i will be taking up this 21 day challenge. I would not look at his FB profile, His messaging profile....since only connect with him is through social media.

And if i am able to do that i will suceed in forgetting him.

I need your help and support during these 21 days.

Thanks.

Good plan. Put away/throw away all reminders too which may trigger rumination on memories of the shared past. You are detoxing from that relationship now and it helps to have distractions like hobbies (making some creative Christmas cards maybe?), going to movies, rewarding yourself for progress at regular intervals (favourite food? a gift for yourself? buying yourself a lovely bunch of flowers?) Try to avoid discussing the past with anyone and analysing it in retrospect, instead give yourself credit for making this very positive decision and making a commitment to move forward by clearing the space the past takes up so that you can be ready to allow new relationships into your life, may you have a very happy new year and truly a new start.

its day 2.

I am getting withdrawal symptoms.

Its like giving up nicotine or alcohol.

I am urged to check his profile on social networking app.

But i went to market and kept myself occupied.

Tomorrow i intend to keep myself occupied again by going to a fair.

Will update you on progress.

As of now was sucessful in not going back to the addictive habit......

yippeee :D :ninja:

A relative of mine is going through something similar. The man she was dating proposed to her and a month later cheated on her. She has been throwing herself into work and college and whatever she can to keep her mind off of things. I'll tell you the same thing I told her. It's going to feel like crap, but it is possible to get through it. Hold onto that though and power through how much it sucks. Eventually it will still suck, but not as much. (Truth can be ugly). Good luck

Really sad to know about your relative. It really hurts to be two timed like that.

Really need Gods help in dealing with this. It definitely feels like crap.

And my hobbies are helping me to cope with it.

I think if you listen to some music that goes along with your emotions, it would help you a lot. Not depressing music, but energetic music.
