Well here is my current situation, I just got a job offer that pays reasonably well, about 24 dollars an hour. Although I am tempted to continue searching for a better offer because it does not quite match (sadly) the salary of a previous job I had.

Should I continue searching?

The fact that I could lose this opportunity is eating me apart

I would keep this job for the time being. If you get a firm offer later, take it.

Hey Sebastian.

Maybe try to set aside the salary issue, and reflect on your interview and overall experience there. How was the workplace atmosphere? Did you get a chance to speak with any of the current employees and hear their perspective? From the limited time with your interviewer, did you leave feeling like this was a good fit for you? I wouldn't disagree with you that money plays a big factor in accepting an offer, but you should also consider other things like whether you can see yourself working there everyday and enjoying what you're doing. Hope that helps.

I guess that is the move prudent call to make in this moment of time. Accepting a job offer doesn't mean you have to cease looking for a job that is better paying.

I'm basically doing the same; employers always want more control & ultimately this can be a question of turning it over to them & being patient enough to see which actually uses any...
