This is more-or-less a follow up to my previous thread about wanting to move here. I'm not seeking advice about that here, but rather something else. A disclaimer: Please refrain from posting anything harsh here.

I need some sort of professional life-planning helper with me, so I can at least try and make my dream come true in spite of some disadvantages of mine- where can I find people like those? They seem like the kind of people I'd turn to for stuff like what I'm in now.

Maybe a therapist / counselor type of person? I'm trying to get into counseling myself, for help with coping with my various challenges, setting goals, working on my functioning level, etc.

Any other ideas, people?

A life coach! Yea, they are said to be great for these types of things. That can get expensive, I think. A good friend with insight?

Did you do it? Did your life coach work out? I ask because I'm considering the same thing.
