what do you think i should do?

i know you never thought you'd see this but here goes

i'm just finishing my 5th(im 17) year at charleston Academy and i want to stay on for my 6th year so i can get a higher in chemisrty as i want to go into Forensics but my mum say that if i don't get good enough grades this year she's not going to let me stay on and i'll have to get a job so i can pay her digs.
what can i do?????????

Well, good grades help to get good jobs. That's just a fact of life. If you can't manage the grades right now, try to find a job that would look good in terms of a resume for forensics jobs. Work a year or so, then go back to finish up. Well, I'm assuming that's possible, I'm not even all that familiar with the education system in the country I'm in, let alone other countries.
