Unbelievable. After one week dealing with a tragic car accident, I have came back only to be considered a troll for confirming an agreed notion, and implicitly belittled and put down by another member in the Math and Science sub-forum. Never knew people can be so rude and horrible.

Well, I guess this is it for me on this forum.

I notice you were posting in the 'Religon, Politics and Other Fightin' Words' forum; any time I post there I half *expect* an argument regardless of what position I take, even arguments that don't make sense simply because those are irrational topics. The math one was a bit more off-feeling. We like to think that with things like theorems, you can either prove it true or not, but still sometimes you run into someone just aching for an argument. If it were me I'd just flag the name calling comment and move on. Not away from WP, but to other conversations. Honestly it seems like bad luck that you hit two bad conversation flows in the same week & while you have other stuff going on in real life. When that happens to me I'll sometimes only post to the 'softer' subforums for a while or just stay away for a few days. The flavor & mood of the place really is just that dynamic, or can be, in my opinion.

The best way to avoid the trolls is to remain a Wrong Planetian while sharing your opinions and ideas with others by Private Messages (PMs). I have done this for months. It works well!

Some WP users, regardless of their autistic diagnoses, still can't grasp the most basic of social conventions that should be afforded to others, but cause them to screech endlessly when not afforded to them.

I guess the moderators have removed some of the posts. Never thought that Aspies can be so mean and cruel to each other. I guess utter peace and harmony among even your own brethren is a distant reality.

@Cathlynn, having two degrees hasn't spared me from an emotional onslaught. It does not improve your social class or status. It is a notion I have realized not too long ago.

No aspies can be quite mean to other aspies if you disagree with them on issues. I've learned that the hard way also.

PPR is not the place to go for support. They're bitchy over there. Like to get in spats. Try other sub forums.

People tend to harp on such things as petty semantics within the PPR subforum.

We all deal with trolls on here at some point, disagreements of any sort too.. you can't win em all, but you can ignore them and stay for the good ones
