So I went out this weekend with new friends I made from my Asperger group. I asked out a girl for coffee and got a yes, but the people who call me "friend" at my office didn't invite me out to go drinking with them this weekend. Literally everyone but me got invited, one girl claimed it was because I am a guy. However one of the girls boyfriends went, so who gives a good f**k about my gender. I hate these people, they should have driven drunk that night. I don't even care about the stupid date anymore, because most women are not actually interested they think I am just being 100% friendly with no realization that I like them. Right now I am so angry I want to start hurting myself again and break something.

So you asked out this girl, and then she said yes, and now you're angry because you weren't invited at your office to go drinking with them?

If you don't mind me saying, I think you're displaying catastrophic thinking. Surely not all women are the same, and maybe these people who didn't invite you, maybe that says something about them?

Either way, how people treat you doesn't mean that you're a bad person. And it definitely doesn't mean that you should start hurting yourself either. Your life is precious, don't throw it away.

I hope this helps...
