I am in need of positive emotional reinforcement. Please post a compliment for me. It does not have to be true. It must only be complimentary. The poll provides a few samples to make the selection easier. Thank you.

I second the notion you have a low BS tolerance, even though many of the things you see to be BS I personally do not. Still, calling it as you see it in my book is an awesome personality trait this world needs way, way more of.

I will offer you honest compliments because, to me, honest compliments mean the most. I can't stand fake or gushy.

I find your posts interesting. There are some screen names that I read every word of their posts; there are others that I skim, due to the history of content I have seen in their posts. Your posts, I read through.

I don't always agree with everything you have to say, but I may sometimes misunderstand you rather than disagree with you. I often have to ask people to repeat themselves or state things in a different way. I seem to process slowly at times--depends on the day and how tired I am.

I read your posts on how men think, because, in your posts you often echo things I hear my husband say. Listening to other men speak their minds sometimes helps me understand him better. So thanks for being open with your thoughts.

I think your posts also indicate a keen intelligence.

I hope you find some comfort in the compliments on here.

I think you could be a poster boy for lifelong learning and personal development.

You require proof before accepting something as true.
You accept proof against what was previously true, and allow it to change your view.
You stand up for what you accept is true.
You are loyal to those truths.

Quite frankly, you make me question my own views and that rational foil is a wonderful gift you have given me several times. You've also listened to people when they tell you to back down b/c maybe the truth isn't what the OP of that particular thread needs most at that moment. You are also damn smart, and sometimes funny in an exceedingly dry way.

Nobody likes me,
Everybody hates me,

Ignorant dumb ones,
Arrogant smart ones,
Those meanies make me cry!

I tell my HFA son to ignore the meanies and concentrate on the good people who love him. It doesn't make the meanies nice people though. And it's always easier said than done.

I usually avoid complimenting someone when I know it'd most likely be an ignorant understatement on my part.

You're a blunt sort. You have lots of info in your head.

You would have greatly aided Abe Lincoln in his quest to make local rivers navigable, so commerce flow smoothly in scenic, rural areas.

I hope you become more content, so you can see the good in people even more than you do presently.

I wish I could be as good of an engineer as you. That's my main weakness: fixing and building things.
