Apparently, I have given myself tendinitis with the countless hours of Shin Megami Tensei on the PS2.

It hurts like a Motherf***er.

So, here is some advice. Take some breaks when you are having hours-long gaming sessions.

I am now a cautionary tale.

Acquiring wisdom can hurt like a b***h.

However, at least you could educate people based on your experience.

Good advice.

I learned the hard way about jump roping bare feet on concrete past age 60.
I start at a few reps and built up to 2,000 reps.

Don't do it.

I need to reevaluate
If it is worth doing
It's worth doing to excess.

Get "Shmart"

I was putting groceries in my car yesterday.

I whacked my head because I didn't duck low enough.

"Missed it by this much"

I once blew off my entire arm by accident. Would you believe it? My entire arm!

Do you have a prosthetic arm?

Well, I just rubbed salt into my wounds by adding more self-injury to the mix.

I just got home from an Iron Maiden concert. Where I screamed my applause very loudly and pervasively. Where I banged my head throughout most of the songs. Where I did not wear earplugs.

This means my vocal chords are raw, my neck will be stiff and sore, and my ears will ring for a day or two.

Was it worth it?

Yes. Yes, it was.

That was an amazing concert, and it is not very often that I get to release this much energy and not have anybody look at me weirdly. It was oddly cathartic and cleansing.

Glad you enjoyed the concert.

I have to monitor and modify my stimming because I constantly injure myself. Mostly the injuries are neck and calf muscle strains.

Yikes, I have the same problem. I used to bruise myself all the time, unintentionally, while stimming.
