Came across this YouTube video... It sums up my life and how I've been feeling.

Hi, So tell me if I am interpreting this video correctly. Are you feeling like you have to put a fake smile on for the world while you go about finishing your to-do list or a to-do list someone else has made up for you, but deep inside you just feel like ending it all? What has brought you to this point?

Hi aspieinaz. I just feel quite depressed, right now. Like the days trickle by, same old same old to-do list, and I try to put on a brave, happy face to get things done. I know this too shall pass, but I'm reaching the end of my tether. It's winter, here in Australia, and the long nights and short days tend to get to me. Thanks for listening and caring, mate.

Thanks for the response, I understand about putting on the fake smile or mask in front of people. Yes, we are enjoying the long days of summer here. In a few months, it will be your turn. Does it get cold where you live? We live in the mountains and it snows and gets below freezing during our winter time. Our only source of heat is burning wood. I hope you soon feel better.

Thanks matey. Where I live (Queensland) it rarely dips below freezing in winter, even at night... and during the day, it kind of hovers around 70F. It's more semi-tropical than temperate. I grew up in Canada, so I know all too well about ice, snow and freezing weather. I use to suffer terribly from S.A.D back then. It's not as bad since I moved to Australia, but it still affects me quite a bit. Summer can't get here fast enough! Are you in Arizona? (I assume from your username.)

Yes, I am in AZ in the mountains which go up to 10,000 feet. Many people think of AZ as a desert but there are a lot of mountains and more Ponderosa pine trees than anywhere else in the USA

aspieinaz and the_phoenix... I just want to say "thank you" for your kindness. It helps a lot. I am feeling a bit better today. Just like winter and long nights, my gloomy mood can't last forever... It's bound to swing the other way and brighten up. Thank you both for shining some sunny rays into my life.
