None of us can ever really know how desperate a space any OP might really be in, (or that we ourselves may be in some time) and reaching out here has been for some a very last attempt to hold things together and make it through the tunnel of absolute despair. Sensitivity, acceptance, support, understanding, affirmation - these are all gifts we can make to posters who are going through a tough time. Who knows when we may be in need of them too..
