Well, subj. I apologize in advance for my crappy English - it is not my native language - and for wasting your time.
Let me start by mentioning that I strongly suspect that I might have some form of ASD - I found myself fitting most of the diangostic criteria and have passed several online aspie-tests with flying colors. Here's the kicker, though - I live in Russia and there's no such thing as official adult autism diagnosis (and, AFAIK, all children diagnosed with autism get re-diagnosed with schizophrenia after turning 18). Not to mention that the general opinions regarding people with ASD here in Russia range from "socially mal-adjusted attention whores" at best to "ret*d subhumans" at worst.
Secondly, I've got chronic fatigue syndrome - constant sense of fatigue, slight insomnia, lack of focus and memory, all that stuff. A recent blood test revealed that I have Epstein-Barr virus which seems to be the suspect. I've also got bronchial asthma and several allergies which together with autism seem to be all somehow connected to CFS, but I digress.
I've also been failing quite badly at my university recently - and, regarding all of the above, I seriously don't think there's point in actually trying. I barely have enough energy to commute to and from my uni and sit through the classes, let alone actually studying new material or trying to repay my academic backlogs.
So, yeah. I don't know what to do now and I seriously consider getting an exit bag at this point.
I apologize in case if something's against the policies of this forum and I wouldn't mind seeing this removed if so.

You have a medical diagnosis, the Epstein Barr and related chronic fatigue syndrome. In Western countries, this would be all you need to get a medical leave of absence so you can rest up and recover from your illness. Does this exist in Russia? I would not mention the autism part.

Get well from your physical ailment and lots of rest and good food. Then when you are feeling better, tackle these hard questions again. I assure you, trying to solve life's dilemmas when you are very sick will get you nowhere.

What does "getting an exit bag" mean? I'm not familiar with that term.

I don't think so, but I'll definitely look for something like that.

Thing is, i don't think CFS is actually curable, as are asthma and autism. And living an entire life constantly lacking energy and being unable to have a normal conversation with people doesn't look that promising to me.
At least asthma is completely manageable by drugs.

It's a method of suicide by inhalation of noble gases like helium.
Okay, I guess I shouldn't have brought that up.

Well, your facts are wrong. Autism is NOT curable, but you can manage to get more out of life. Asthma is also NOT curable, but can be managed successfully for most people. Finally, CFS is probably not curable either but you can manage it to best advantage.

I have been afflicted with fibromyalgia, a chronic pain and fatigue syndrome, for 30 years, so I know about chronic illness. The goal is not cure, but successful management. Right now you are only able to see the darkness, but I have a happy life and so do many others with chronic diseases. Don't give up so easily!

Well, sorry for bad wording, but that's exactly what I meant to say.
Anyways, thank you very much for your support. I guess I'll go look up some literature of dealing with CFS right now.
