I don't want to be alone. I don't want to be alone. I don't want to be alone. I don't want to be alone.

I don't know what it is about me that is so off-putting and unlovable. I wish I knew why none of the guys I've ever liked have ever wanted me. Nothing ever happens. They seem to like me at first, but always find someone better.

I'm Always on the reject pile. I'm nothing and I don't know why. And it won't ever change. I'll always still be dowdy, boring me and no one will ever love me. I don't know how to accept that I'll never be in a loving relationship. I don't know how to let go of that dream.

@hurtloam

im new to this site, but i decided to finally get an account
because i can sympathize with this feeling a lot right now
i wish i could offer something more helpful but i suppose i
just want to commiserate; im in a really bad place emotionally
and its largely to do with relationships right now.
i feel pretty unlovable just the way i am
but i have some hope left
and i hope you can find some as well!
all is usually not lost

I'm in the same boat. Is it a full moon?

People are acting weird tonight too. My friends aren't talking to me much lately, either. I just feel all alone. Maybe I need to start my own Haven thread.

How do you let them know you like them?

I invite them to spend time with me and try and build some rapport. It seems to me that all of my friends got together through spending time together and they just naturally gravitated towards each other. I just get ignored.

In my experience, it's quasi impossible to ask out more than one person within the same
social group - you would quickly be perceived as player/slut/desperate and get shamed for it.

As if once rejected by someone, it becomes socially unacceptable and forbidden to ask out someone else of the same group even like months and a year later. Weird.

Actually that's kind of reassuring. It's not me. It's social perceptions.

It won't get better. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong so the cycle will always continue until I die.

I don't understand how people mange to develop relationships. What happens? How do they get together? What do they say to each other? How do they get to a point where they are comfortable with each other enough to just go and sit together and talk? How do they not feel anxiety and not feel like fools? How do they overcome the feeling that there is no way this lovely other person could like them? Where do they get the confidence?

Even when I was younger and did have confidence to just go up and talk time o guys. They didn't like me.

I don't understand this stuff and I never will. No one will ever want me and I don't know why.
