I'm sorry to hear how many things you're having to deal with; all of that is really overwhelming, it's all a lot to deal with all at the same time. I totally get how you're struggling to cope.
Would it help to take planned walks in your new city with a view to observing the roadways and signs, almost like a series of pedestrian-based "dry runs" for driving there?
It's very mindblowing to have to just start driving in a new city with more complicated roads than before, I experienced that also. Sometimes it can ease you into learning the roads by being a pedestrian first, or even a cyclist keeping to the side, if you happen to have a bicycle or can borrow one.
Even going on Google Streetview and "driving" yourself down the streets by clicking along the images might be able to help you get more familiar with how to drive them more comfortably.
I hope you feel better as time goes on; it's never easy to be in a completely new place.
I'm scared to walk about, yesterday I saw 2 thieves running away after stealing from someone
