I had 911 called twice in 12 hours to go to the ER , for different reasons .
Both times , I was briefly looked at , but sent out ~ and now , with my bedsheets destroyed , and one of my crutches apparently gone and my " good " glasses either lost or knocked down to the " less clean " place (Perhaps I can clean them ?)I have walked here in hospital pants issued to me that I have to hold with one hand to keep up , and dirty :( .
To start to lay this out...
Last earlyearly Tuesday morning , I had this off-balancedness (& my kleiged eyes then , too) then when going out , I thought even then that I might go to the ER for this off-balancedness , it was as if I was about to fall down :( ...I was wobbling :( ............

...I did not go then , but yesterday (Thursday) I felt wobbling , while in Target , after having felt that way much along the ensuing hours . I decided I should call the ER that night . thinking I'd get admitted into the hospital for the weekend . I bought some sweet stuff and a couple of magazines then , to treat myself/have the magazines when I was in the hospital .
It would take me away from a computer , but I'd get looked at and some rest and save some money .
After I went back to the place , I eventually had 911 called , telling them about the wobbling , almost falling .
Briefly , I was only in there for a while , with them not admitting me , and letting me go , with a taxi voucher to bring me back to the place .
I went to bed , fell asleep ~
And , when I woke up  ~ I had massively defecated while I was asleep ! :( , with the chocolate pudding-like feces having ruined the pants I had on ~ and the sheet under me - Which I had only bought a couple of days previous :( ~ And , having me , when I made my way to bathrooms down the hall , leave stains from what was on my buttocks onto the toilet seats ! :( I had stains from the fecie on my body , from it getting on me as I lay in the bed  .
Worse even?? ~ there was a scheduled turn-off of the water service in the SRO then , I COULD NOT take a shower ! :(
I decided to call the ER again , I did , luckily having my message phone to call ~ I went to the ER near naked , with just one T-shirt and my one pair of real shoes on ~ I felt I would ruin everything I put on at that point . The EMS people brought me , wrapped in a gurney .
I thought I would maybe get some clothes issued to me after I was out of the hospital in a couple of days .
Briefly , the hospital only kept me there briefly . They didn't offer me a ride back , saying they had no more taxi vouchers left , and offered me - Remember , I was naked from the waist down totally - only a tie-up pair of " hospital trousers " and said that they had no shower to offer .
Now , when I left the room , the RUINED! sheet was left sitting on the bed , along wioth he trash bag I let the RUINED! underwear in ~ The staffers there said " We can't have anyone throw it out " , it would be left there , saying that when I came back I could take care of the pood-upon sheet and the bag w/the p-on undies (I also ended up throwing much of my undies out - and , remember , I have no sheets at all anymore , I do have a blanket that appears to have avoided direct contact with the poop , though it's smelly .
With myself out , and walking downhill from St. Francis and near the computer lab place I did decide to go here - I have just the hospital trousers on , over my lower pat , remember .
I have spent all my paper money , nothing till Monday .
No sheets in my room AT ALL :( ( Just the smelly blanket) , less clothes , with me having savaged some in the cleaning up of various messes (I guess the water- turn-off is over by now) , to get some food I will have to avail myself of the free Meals On Wheels at the place , which I believe my digestion has sometimes responded unfavorably too , contributing to all this poop problem (And , remember , something similar happened just two?? mornings ago :(.) , as of right now , there's still poop residue on my body itself , lower part  :( .

...I feel decent...but again , I have hardly any clothes now , just the one set of shirts/sweater I am now wearing for any outdoor gear , that is all I have now , and these jeans are the , arguably , " only suitable " pants I have now , otherwise it's a pair of jean shorts that are really too scant for San Francisco October breezes and 1 other jeans that have (I have fluctuated so with my weight this year .) shrunk already a little too much to wear comfortable , and aftr they're washed AGAIN , well :? ...I will have an extra-long last week of the month this month , with my next money after too-morrow's not coming in til' the 3d and I have to renew my little phone's $45 minutes plan this week , by the 29th or so :( ...

I'm very sorry to hear you're in that situation, Walter. People can take life for granted but you have so many struggles, it's amazing that you're still fighting. I'm sincerely wishing you the best and will try to get your word out on other forums.

Regarding your $45 phone card/sim card, is that what you use to make calls? If you don't make many calls from your cell phone, maybe you can look for a phone plan that lasts 6 months or so. Where you pay an upfront fee of $$ and only renew it every 6 months. With the right plan, you will be able to still receive calls/messages, even if your $$ runs out after a few months. It might be better to use payphones and keep your mobile separate, just for receiving calls/messages. It depends how often you need to pay the $45, though.

Wishing you well.

...For a very short reply on just one subject , Tobes , payphones basically DO NOT EXIST in the U.S. - at least the cyber-obsessed coastal Northwest - anymore ! Thank you .

OK, well like I said before, you should try and find the longest-running cell phone plan, so your dollar goes further. E.g. a plan where your credit lasts for 6 months or even a year, so you don't have to recharge your $45 as often.

...I don't really have the cash for that , now , Tobes :( - In fact , after replacing at least some of my T-shirts and bedding at Goodwill and planning to get new underwear and undershirts at Target now that my money has come in --- I will not now :( be renewing my phone's minutes when they run out on the 29th or so , barring new money coming in to me ! :( At the least , I'll have to wait til' more than a week from now , at the very earliest , when the new Nov. ca$h comes in .
Mighty thin/gruel-like Halloween likely for me , too . :( I am writing this in-between writing a reply to your PM  !

How often do you use your phone? Maybe you can wait a bit longer before renewing it. How many months do you have your phone minutes for, before you need to recharge?

I think of you, Walter, often. I think of a thousand tiny things that could help you but I know, in this world, it's not gonna happen. But at least know that somebody (me, and probably others) pray for you.

Did you say northwest? Not California?

Helpful hint: when my stuff is missing after ambulance ride, look under my bed. Everything they look at (like my meds) they drop and kick under the bed.

Be well, Walter, as best you can.

...I am counting Northern California as the Northwest here - Folks up here make a big thing of " Norcal " separately (And , indeed , I will have to go into detail sometimes about the attitude about , to narrow it down more , " We're NOT LA ! !! !! !! !! " that many folks in San Francisco display , I never knew of it til' I came here  :P  ! !! !! !! !! !!) .
