Finally it is all clear, I must destroy the human race to stop the pain...wait did type that or just think it...how do you delete a post?

I have taken the maximum dose of typtamine migraine medication, the max dose of Alieve, and i just took my evening dose of topirimate.

If it doesn't get better in an hour or so, I need to go to the hospital.

Thanks. If the world would just end, so would the pain and I would feel fine. REM had it almost correct

 I am really sorry you are in such pain right now. It sounds absolutely awful to have a migraine that lasts that long untouched by pain medications.

Thank you

It is a seasonal thing for me and it just started to get bad again.

I am considering taking a new job and moving.

You've got a level 10 it sounds like. I had a level 8 for the first half of this week and still feel the aftereffects.

I don't know the levels. Could you explain.

I just thought I was going crazy when the aura started and the pain had been regular it was just part of life. I had about 5 months of the year where I couldn't really work or function. If you live with something long enough it becomes normal.

I just made the levels up. "10" would be go to the hospital. "8" would be lie doubled-up in bed shaking all day with a wool hat pulled over your eyes.

Got it.

I am trying to decide if I should crawl into bed and try to make to morning or drive to hospital in the middle of a rain storm.

My right eye is pretty much non-functioning right now and driving at night would be horribly painful with all of the bright lights.

I have to dim my computer screen right now.

The sound of rain against the windows is fairly painful.

In my dark room at night I have to put on sunglasses to be able to look at the screen when it's at minimum brightness.

I have been there.

when the flashing of the blue notification light on my phone is like an ice pick being stabbed into my eye and when the clicking of the wheel on the wheel mouse is someone pounding against the side of my head with a hammer.

Not there yet, but close.
