I've had similar experiences with that. Four anti-depressants and an anti-psychotic, none of them did any lasting good for me. Therapy...either I never found the "right fit," or there isn't one out there. Smoking... done with some level of thought involved and not to excess, and not simply to "get high," it has been beneficial in the past. Got me through a real rough week in April. Had to (and have to) get clean now for a drug test (assuming I can find a job, get through an interview, and be the "best" candidate...man that's going to be tough) but I've still considered smoking small amounts on occasion in the future if I need to and if I'm able to.
Catnip tea had some interesting effects. (Yeah, make a tea bag from a coffee filter and pour in catnip, just don't let your cat see if you have one, it might get mad at you for pinching from its stash...

) Made me feel mellow and relaxed, though I haven't tried it enough and in enough of a controlled environment to be sure if it was much more than placebo, or possibly chemicals used to treat it. Need to find some organic stuff.
