You were brave enough to ask so that alone is very commendable and I think you should give yourself some recognition for that. Because I know that even many of the most confident seeming men have a difficult time getting up enough nerve to ask someone out, I always view men who do so in high regard.
While it might be difficult, I don't think you should take her rejection personally. There are many reasons why someone might reject you, and most of them don't have anything to do with you. It could have been bad timing for her, she might not be interested in dating anyone, she might not want to date someone from work due to the complexities and problems it can cause. Pat yourself on the back for taking the chance, and feel good about yourself for doing so.
