ToysRUs has very poor customer service and is unprofessional

When you google the store and type in Toysrus complaints, you will see all these complaints online about them.

I finally had an issue with them on ebay. I bought 9 Shopkins sets from them on there and they were all low in price so I spent $42 total and the shipping was free on orders over $29.

They marked their items as shipped on ebay and I never got them but two sets and they didn't ship them all together. They all said they had arrived but instead some of them went to Portland, WA and it had a Vancouver zipcode. There is no Portland in Washington and somehow they f****d up with the shipping and it went there and said it was delivered. The rest said my town and zipcode and said they were delivered but I never saw the packages. I assumed they were stolen off my porch so I reported it to the police and did a police report with them.

I talked to ToysrUs and they had a separate number from the retail corporation and they said they would resend the items and gave me a confirmation number. A week goes by and I call them back to ask for a shipping number and they said a refund had been issued to my orders because they were out of stock and it would be 5-10 business days so by Jan 2nd it should be posted. I wait and yesterday comes and I log into my paypal account and still no refund so I decide to take it to ebay and have them step in to get my money. Toysrus did gaurentee money back in their listings if you are not satisfied. But they didn't refund me and I wasn't going to call them again because of their dishonesty. Right after I had them step in to help, they closed all my claims because all they did was look at my page and saw the items had been delivered and they didn't even check the location or even talk to me first to see what the problem was so they closed them. I felt I was being called a liar and like I was trying to get my items for free.

So I decided to take it to paypal and open a dispute there to get my money back due to no item received and I wanted a refund as they promised. But paypal had changed their things around on the website so it was hard to figure it out so i called them and they directed me to ebay and I talked to a lady there on the phone and it was a hassle. I had to pull teeth with her to get her to see my claims I opened on there with toysrus when I sent them a message about their shipping after I saw they had been delivered. I gave her the claim numbers too on the items and she found them and told me the seller couldn't be responsible because it says my items were delivered and told me I should call the shipping company. But she said she would refund me as a courtesy since this was a one time thing and this is rare and she reversed it for me and determined the packages were stolen during delivery.


So I am never shopping at ToysrUs again and I know about tracking fraud where someone can just send you a fake tracking number to make it look like it was delivered and they also have a lot of negative feedback and most of it was positive. I tried to leave them negative feedback but it was removed within minutes because it said my items were delivered. I have no idea how others were able to give them negative feedback. I am afraid to leave it again saying poor communication or broken promises or saying "said they would refund me and never did." usually ebay sides with the buyers but a seller on there can also fake shipping and tracking to say it was delivered so ebay will side with them. Also if you look up toyusrus complaints online people also say, they're scammers and I also saw posts by consumers saying how their packages were shipped to the wrong town. I don't know if toysrus does fake shipping or what but I am never doing business with them again online because of their poor customer service and lies. Also they did have three of their items still in stock i bought and they never bothered to reship those. when I buy an item, I expect to get it and if they say it's out of stock and refund me and I see they still have them in stock, I will be one unhappy customer. Toysrus is known for doing this because many consumers complained about this. It amazes me how toysrus can still be in business and how they even manage to stay on ebay and get away with it.But since they are "professional" the can cheat their buyers and make them look like scammers by marking their items as shipped and delivered. Now it's possible some of my packages from them were actually stolen off my doorstep like my gift exchange package was but they said they would refund me and they never did so therefore they lied and broke their promise and they didn't follow their listing on ebay when they said it was gaurenteed or else they refund you.


Now my paypal credit charge is down so I don't have to pay $45 anymore. It's now down to $10 something. Reason why i got refunded by ebay was because of a buyer protection thing.

Sure it was actual toyrus and not a scammer prentending to be them. I think anyone can make an account name on eBay. Like walllmart.
I don’t shop eBay and it seems to be nothing but trouble to you, so seems I’m right in avoiding it.

No it's them because I called them on the phone and they directed me to another number which apparently ebay toysrus and toysrus are two different things but sent me s invoice receipt with my two items that came and it had the toysrus number on it and BabiesRUs.
