In addition to having Aspergers ADHD and Depression I also grew up with Tourettes. When I was a kid I would clear my throat every few seconds. Now that I'm older it's not nearly as bad but I still can't stop myself from curling my bottom lip over and over again sometimes and when I get really agitated my fingers will start to twitch. Sometimes I'll make little "huh" sounds in my throat. Any of you guys have Tourettes? What are your ticks?

I have motor tic disorder - no vocal tics so I don't have Tourette's.

The worst tic I've had was a breathing tic. I would breathe in normally but then I'd only let the breath out bit by bit until I was almost gasping the next breath in. Not fun at all. I got an increase in medication for that one.

Most of my tics concern my back, side and stomach muscles. And neck too I guess. Tightening them and letting go. It's a real pain to try and get to sleep with these types of tics.

As I mentioned, I take medication for tics. Haloperidol, 5mgs at night. This helps quite a lot. However, haloperidol brings problems of its own, mostly parkinsonism. So I take benztropine to get rid of that. All together, it works and I only have a few tics while getting to sleep.
