I'm afraid that I'm going to live with special needs with my parents the rest of my life with either a low income job or under social security benefit checks.

Have you gone to college?

Maybe you could, with the support of your parents at first, live independently. In fact, if you got a decent job, that would be quite a realistic possibility.

I got 1 and a half years and have managed to get a part-time job at McDonald's. I got 7 core courses left, and all core courses are done to focus on a major.

That's pretty good. You've made at least some progress.

What do you want to major in?

I would emphasize the accounting, if I were you. Especially if you like it. It's an ideal Aspie occupation.

I really don't like it. I recently found out that I have to be a business major to get a secondary accounting degree. It would be practical to get a Bachelor's degree in management and Bachelor's in accounting, or Bachelor's in accounting and a master's in accounting. I'm not good with tools, or computers. I'm pretty terrible at science too.

Accounting is very practical.

It's even more practical to become a CPA.

Filmmaking is much more risky.

I'll give my vocational rehab consular a call about this.

If you get your CPA, you can make a great living.

Kraftie I wanted to interact with people more than sitting in a room privately. I really wanted to lead in my lifetime. I wanted to work with clients and see the world. I'm the polar opposite of an introvert even though I have social anxiety. I loved art and loved talking about art. I spent most of my high school and college days working with a camera, and added I read many books on how filmmaking works. I know many terms on how filmmaking works and I even learned a lot on how it is structured. Some of my elective courses were done with acting classes back in my community college days. However, a desperate filmmaker who is crazy sounds sleazy and may upset my family. A desperate filmmaker may sound sleazy to women more so than casually as someone who is an accountant. Unfortunately too, my brain makes me rant, stutter, and slur in embarrassment when I lead.

My brain has caused me to sound immature, unclear, and be terrible at decision making. I'm basically Hitler to people.

You can do films and act on the side while you go to college for accounting.

Student films aren't likely to happen if you are a business major.

I think you have a good shot at being independent. I can sense it.
