I do miss him, but as far as I know I am glad he is where he is...he was kind of the outcast of his large family, but now he is living up near them....he also has a German Shepard dog with blonde coloring really a beautiful dog but not a city dog....so I am sure the dog is at least doing better there. I would like to see my dad but I don't want to encourage him to come out here to colorado I mean all the housing is expensive and its no place for that dog, he's a little bit too wild/abrasive for city life, and the only reason my dad has to come here anyways is to visit me and my siblings....I'd rather go visit him...just don't want him to risk coming out here and getting arrested again. Seems like no matter what he always has some legal s**t going on and well maybe it is better if he stays more off the grid, it just sucks because he's not a bad guy he's just had bad luck running into the law...its almost like he has a legal vendetta against him and he really hasn't even done anything aside from be in the possession of weed from time to time.

I mean seriously he kind of reminds me of Frank from shameless, but like a more good version...like that character, if he didn't do such sh***y things all the time.

My ex reminds me of Frank, but with all the bad qualities. He just got another DWI,claims he wasn't drunk,he only had half a beer.Who drinks half a beer?? More like half a keg. When the cops got him his van was run off in a swamp and he was covered in blood.Somehow he can't figure out why the cops are picking on him.So glad he lives in SoArk and not near me.
It's great you have a positive relationship with your Dad.Sounds like the best idea for you to visit him and the dog.
More peace of mind that way.

I live in Colorado, and currently he lives in Minnesota as far as I know.

Yeah I want to see him, but I just don't want him to risk coming out here if it could get him in trouble...plus he has his German Shepard dog now, so it would be terrible if he came back here and got arrested for some crap....the dog has attatchment issues when apart from my dad like this dog just really can't stand if my dad is not around. My dad met him as a young dog with no-where to go and the dog started hanging around my dad so he has taken care of him. He is a really cool dog, a blonde German Shepard so he looks like one but he has much lighter coloring than what you might visualize with a German Shepard. But yeah even so maybe one of the most beautiful dogs anyone could ever see.

Apprently blonde german shepards are rare, yet dog shows still reject them, but who puts a dog or cat in an animal show, the animals don't like it.

But yeah mostly I love him and hope for him to stay somewhere he can live out his life and enjoy it. Would like to visit but I don't want him to risk his well-being to come out and see me. I mean it sucks but that is the way it is I suppose.
