...but I could never stand long enough to talk to them. They showed interest but I was tortured.

When between childhood and adulthood did you begin to think of us as something other than ordinary people?

A woman is just another human being and you should talk to us as such. There is no need to see us as otherkins of some kind.

You seem to have a desire to talk to women but a contempt and condescension for them at the same time. That might be part of your problem. This is what I gather anyway from the way you talked to me in the thread the other day about 21st century technology and planned obsolescence. If you approach women with an attitude of their otherness from you plus condescension it's not surprising your conversations with them are stalling. Trying adjusting your attitude and seeing women as human people just like men and you might get farther.
