Oh I am sorry to hear about your son with diabetes. You've probably told me his age but tell me again? I see that you're in Canada with OHIP, is it? I've got the same with my SunCard- for everybody else, I'm talking medicare. They even pay the ambulance.
Am I too old or do you remember Bobby Clarke, former captain of the Philadelphia Flyers? He had childhood diabetes too but I was surprised to read the the worst of it, from his childhood point of view, was that it impinged on his "team player" identity. But diabetes made him the special kid who had to eat an orange during class. Every summer, he holds a golf open game where you can golf with hockey celebrities for diabetes.
