everyone is nice to me but nobody really like me

i feel i'm being unfair of being so sad about people because at least in recent years everyone is friendly to me, while traveling i always found lots of helpful people, people at university seem to have a positive view on me, at work too. but at the same time, nobody really seems interested to be my friend? like if i met someone by chance, they talk with me and are polite, but nobody really invite me to do things or come to talk with me on facebook, nobody really seem interested in getting a deeper bond with me, it really saddens me.

i feel that way too sometimes. Like I am "the other" and never "the same".

this is a very good way to put this feeling!! people don't dislike me but they don't see me as someone they could actually relate and develop any sort of relation.

Thanks!! I like you too! But still, I stand my point that people don't seek contact or deeper bonds with me. What annoys most me is that people don't invite me to do things with them like a lot of regular people do.

People feel the same about me. That’s why I learned to like my own company.

I mostly like my company but I wanted to change the activities I do (I wanted to go out more) and I can't do it alone.
There is a lot of beautiful nature near where I live, but I can't go alone and nobody invites me (even when I expressed my will to some people I talk too).

I wish I could find someone to just enjoy nature with. I have no friend like that.

I sometimes wonder if people don't invite me to this things because I'm fat so they think I'll be lazy.
My ex-boyfriend was really into nature, I guess it was one of the reasons I'm so attached to him, he took me to a lot of places, but now we live in different continents :/

Why did he leave Brazil—for a job?

it was me who leave. I met him while living in Hungary :/

he tell me to not have hopes, and that he kind of never really liked me enough for us to have a long lasting relationship (although he thinks a few times he did loved me but the feeling kept fading and returning) and even if he loved me, it would be hard for us to be together because it would involve me moving (which i don't have any objection to do but i understand it would be a difficult situation).

i'm still happy to have him as a friend, but it hurts me that we live so far and have little chance to live closer unless we engage in a relationship and decide to move together :/

I'm brazilian and I lived for a year in Hungary as an exchange student. It doesn't sound so exciting for me because at my university there was like more 8 brazilians

the reason why I choose Hungary was pretty random. I originally wanted to go for England, but from that year they stopped accepting the TOEFL exam, and I was insecure about doing the IELTS, which was expensive and actually the time maybe wouldn't work. I felt it was the last year of the program (and it actually was, they were talking at first of make some changes but it ended although not officially but whatever) so I didn't could go to many places as I was quite young in my course, so I could choose between USA, Poland and Hungary. I was afraid of USA, and Poland would be my first option but then I checked it was the only place accepting Medicine students (which have in overall higher grades in the national education exam, which is used to classify students, so I guess I wouldn't be accepted), so I choose Hungary

It was nice, but the university wasn't really good as it was just classes special for foreigners held in English. But I really enjoyed the place, managed to buy a good notebook and travelled a lot around Europe also met my ex-boyfriend who is my favorite person in the world.
