I hate it when weird / unexpected things happen. I posted a simple image somewhere that had nothing wrong with it and ended up going through forum hell over it. That and other issues makes me want to give up on posting to forums. Too much stress and bs attached to something that is supposed to be enjoyable and even therapeutic.

The older I get the less suited to internet interaction with others I feel. I think I am probably a lot worse at it than I thought and there is always a level of stress involved with it even when things are going right or at least appear to be to me. When I first started this years ago my occupational therapist was going on about how remarkable well I was doing and how good it was for me. I am thinking it might have been better for me if I had never started.

No Ezra - you inject quite a bit of much needed humour here but don't let yourself get nettled by what others are saying. I still think it's good for you. There may be the odd differences of opinion or misunderstandings, but move on. Life's too short not to.

I don't think that's true. What you can certainly see, however, is that here on WP there are a fair number of people with significant psychological issues (sensu lato) that go beyond beyond autism, and that bleeds out into everything else. Beneficial interactions generally occur within affinity groups, and while "autism" may be the basis for an affinity group, it's not a very well defined one (and can't serve as an exclusive one). This is but one of many worlds.

I have been on a lot of different kinds of forms. Most of it did not turn out well.

I am dealing with another illness too. It is affecting my mood and feelings. I feel super rundown and depressed.

I can't remember if you ever said what your Myers-Briggs personality type was – do you know?
