Where I live in Canada its going to go up to 30 degrees. It will feel like 37. I will melt! I hate sleeping in a hot room. Its so uncomfortable.

Britain currently experiencing the same thing.
Hope it cools down soon.

I live in Vermont & it's pretty hot here too rite now. Thankfully we have an window AC unit upstairs but it's about 80 downstairs rite now. It's supposed to be even hotter tomorrow. I'm from Louisiana which usually gets pretty hot for about half the year but I'm willing to bet that my parents are having cooler temps than we are rite now.

90 degrees and bone dry in the high desert. Fortunately it has been in the high 40's at night, so I open the windows at night and close them at dawn.
Haven't had to run the A/C yet.

47 where I am with the humidity. I was in Toronto for the previous few days in a nice, super air conditioned hotel. With a pool.....

I've been hibernating in the basement all weekend. Unfortunately, tomorrow is Monday, and I have to go back to work, for 8 hours of wishing all the fans weren't just blowing 100° air on me =|

8 wonderful hours of wishing my immune system didn't constantly attack my moisture producing glands...

The heat index yesterday was 110. I called my parents last night & we were having about the same temp except their heat index was alittle higher due to humidity. They may get some rain thou which might lower their temp to in the 80s so we may get 10 degrees warmer than them. We've been running our AC nonstop & it is keeping my room at a comfortable temp but my girlfriend's room which is across from mine is alittle warm. We'd probably need 3 ACs to keep our whole place at a decent temp; one in each bedroom upstairs & one downstairs. Our AC has always been able to keep the upstairs at a comfortable temp & would usually feel cool after sitting in front of it by being on computer abit. People who say global warming doesn't exist are ret*d.

You need a walk in fridge.

Far too hot and humid for my taste as well. I don't like hot and humid at all. If it never got above 60 degrees in the summer I'd be perfectly happy with that.

Heat exhaustion is a real thing and you can die from it.

They say the worst problem is when the temperature remains over 90 (F) for 3 consecutive days or longer. You are advised to go to an air conditioned building (they are called "cooling centers") for as many hours a day as you can.

I have done that (used libraries and a hospital cafeteria). I have also filled my bathtub with cold water and got in it every hour or so, to keep my body temperature in line. Both were effective.

The UK is in the middle of a heatwave at the moment. I like it though. I'm hypersensitive to cold temperatures, so I'm not as affected by the heat as everybody else seems to be. Sure, I sweat buckets at work, but I remember back in the winter when we had all that ice and snow and it was a lot more unbearable to work in (I mostly work outside). All I need in hot temperatures is plenty of drink and a tissue to wipe my forehead every now and again, and then jump into a cool bath before bed to wash off the sweat.

I used to be the opposite. I used to love summer and hate winter. Now I dont mind winter at all and suffer in the summer.

The current forecast says that next week will be a lot cooler =)

Of course, it is difficult to forecast that far into the future, so it might change.

i hate california so f*****g much.

It's still been pretty cool here so far. Especially with the sea breeze. But I know that sizzling hot days with no breeze are surely on their way. But not nearly as bad as Vegas with its 3 months of 105 degree average temps.

We're only in the low 90s here, typical for Houston.
